Thinking again to move from MF to LF with a Horseman 980 of VH-R6x9, but don't have any experiences. Does light measuring be done on the ground glass ? What about focusing ? Can it be done with the rangefinder on these cameras or has it to be done on the groundglass. Intend to use rollfilm.

Horseman sells a light meter that slips into the camera like a film holder. Measures light at the film plane. Averaging, I believe, and can be used with (nearly?) all 2x3 press/view cameras. Not all that common, but they're around.

Not all 6x9 Horseman models have a range finder. The ones that don't have to be focused on the GG. the others can be focused either way for cammed lenses. Non-Horseman lenses certainly don't have cams, and I don't know who makes 'em.
