Hi all,

I recently picked up a Horseman Convertible with one of the old-style 10EXP, 6x7 backs with the wind lever on the bottom. Unfortunately, the latch on the back seems to have either worn out or bent, and won't hold the door closed tightly. Here's a photo, with the worse of the two...hooks(?)...circled in red: IMG_2259.jpg And here's another from a working back: IMG_2258.jpg

You can see in the 'broken' one that the hook seems to be missing about 2mm of metal, which gives the door enough play to let light in. On top of that, it's possible to open the door without sliding the latch switch, which is obviously a huge issue as well.

Does anyone have any experience taking these apart? Do you suppose there's anything I can do that doesn't involve replacing that whole piece?
