Hood for Hassy 80mm T*?

I've dusted off my 500C/M to do some shooting, but would like to purchase a lens shade for the f/2.8 80mm T* lens I'm planning on using. I've got a B60-67mm adapter and a UV filter on the lens. Is this going to mess-up my ability to attach the hood? Is the bayonet mount on the hood deep-enough to accommodate the adapter and filter? Will hoods advertised for CF/CFE lenses work with my older T*?

While on the topic - what's the consensus around the made in china plastic hoods? Shipping takes a while, but a purchase price of $14 is pretty tempting.

Any help is appreciated.

I had one of those plastic hoods that were made to look like the metal Hasselblad hoods. It was actually a nice hood. No, it won't hold up to the knocking around of a metal one, but I banged mine several times on door frames, gates and such and it held up fine. You should have no problems attaching the hood. I have no experience w/ the other lenses you mentioned, but if they all take the same adapter, that should work.

I got a lot of stares when I went out w/ that camera on a strap. I think that people assumed it was a video camera by the looks of it. When that shutter fired, I'm not sure what they thought. It sounded awfully loud to me too until I bought a Bronica S. Beautiful camera, seemed much bigger than the 'blad, shutter sounded like a gun firing. W/o a doubt, the loudest shutter I ever heard on a camera.

The plastic hoods and the metal hoods for the CF and later lenses slide over the B60 filter edges and lock on to the lens tube sides. There will be not problem with these lens hoods for Hasselblads. As far as B60-67mm adapters, I would suspect a problem in that the lens hood would have to be installed before the filter is attached. Will the B60-67mm adapter fit inside the lens hoods? I do not know. Again had you stuck to B60 filters you would not have a problems.

Super glue works well on the plastic.
Black board paint ditto.

The bay 60 lens hood fits my 100 C and 159 CF lenses with the adapter and a 67 mm filter. Should work on the 80 as well. My 100 also has the bay 50 to 60 adapter on it full time

With the Bay 60 filter size your lens should be a CF model. The original chrome or black lenses T* or not were Bay 50
