I just found out about this free event with Les Zellan, owner of Cooke Optics, tomorrow at Hawaii Camera, the local rental house, walking distance from my apartment. I've already got something else at the same time, but I may try to get out of it to attend and hear what he might have to say about Cooke LF lenses (though the main topic will be cine lenses).

Very cool to be in your back yard!

I'm expecting an XVa to arrive from Badger Graphics today, I'm looking forward to shooting some controlled comparisons with 300mm, 450mm and 600mm lenses and will post results if anyone's interested.
