Honolulu: Cooke Optics head speaking at Hawaii Camera, 19 Nov 2015

I just found out about this free event with Les Zellan, owner of Cooke Optics, tomorrow at Hawaii Camera, the local rental house, walking distance from my apartment. I've already got something else at the same time, but I may try to get out of it to attend and hear what he might have to say about Cooke LF lenses (though the main topic will be cine lenses).

I'm expecting an XVa to arrive from Badger Graphics today, I'm looking forward to shooting some controlled comparisons with 300mm, 450mm and 600mm lenses and will post results if anyone's interested.

The lens has been out for a while, but it's always good to see how new people are using it!
