Home rolled and developed missing frames

Hello all I'm a little puzzled. I bought Vision3 in bulk this is my second roll and I have tested around 12exp.
First 3 exp + 2exp from the bulk loading front and rear of the roll are not there.
Please see pic with the develop roll. Just in middle are 7 frames.
I hope there is no issue with my bulk loading as I've done it before. I hope this is an issue with camera.

What camera? It looks like a shutter not opening. Did it advance through the frames properly as you wound it on?

Pentax280p it is automatic. But is was ok before. Can it be the bulk loader? Am I rolling to fast?

I don’t think this is a bulk loader issue. All it does is roll the film into the canister. This looks like either your shutter didn’t open, or your lens cap was not removed.

Gents thank you for the reply, but I'm an idiot. I've looked under backlight and then scan the transparent bit and it the road with road lights. The negative looks completely transparent but there are two very small black dots.
Sorry for the mess.

The missing frames are not exposed so it's not a bulk loader issue. The Pentax you're using has a lens cover that opens, probably when you turn the camera on. make sure it's opening fully every time, it may be sticking. Try turning it on and off several times while looking at the lens cover, you may see it stay closed or stick a bit when it opens. Since the viewfinder doesn't look through the lens like an SLR you wouldn't see that it's closed when you take a shot. If it's not that then it may be a malfunctioning shutter but I would put my money on the lens cover.

I'm getting into rangefinder shooting after years of SLR and DSLR use. So far I've taken no pictures of the lens cap! But I know its coming sooner or later...... Gotta happen!

Same here and it has just happened to me on my last roll taken with one of my compact Konica Pop's. It happened on about 5 frames out of the 36 roll! You just get caught in the moment and then there is a sudden Doh!!! moment. Luckily I noticed on each occasion and made at least one exposure directly after each occurrence and made an exposure.

...and that is exactly why I don't ever use any lens caps on my Leica, just clear protection filters...

If you use a Leitz Elmar LTM you have to take the cap off to adjust the iris, that helps.

Better late than never:

Check the blank sections of the film for the pre-printed edge writing. If it's there, the problem is most likely with your camera. If it's not, the problem is most likely that the film was exposed or something went wrong in development.

From the sharp cut-off, and the fact that the camera is automatic, I'd lean toward a camera problem (maybe a shutter not closing in time?). If it's a fogging, loading or development issue, the patterns would probably be different.

Probably, but I often go back to old forum posts for new (to me) problems, so more information is always good. And frankly I'm a bit baffled that no one told the OP to look for edge writing... that was one of the first things we learned in Photo 101.
