Home made D-23...what's the down side?

Thanks for bringing the thread back on point. You've summarized the situation quite well. Thanks. I've not noticed any serious draw back. I was kinda expecting some skeleton to be pulled from the closet..but none such has been.

I'll add that it's a thrill to see the stuff you mixed up from raw materials actually work (and work so well).
