currently overhauling my current darkroom at home. Would love to see what others have done to their spaces to maximize production. I will be ra4 printing on a 30 inch processor that I scored online. Have a moderate size room that I will be using but just curios to see what others spaces look like. please share photos in this thread !

Congratulations!
In the past I’ve had several color print dark rooms but do not currently do ra4 except occasionally in trays. That said, and you probably already know this, the one thing I’d make sure of is having the feed area separate from the chemical tank area. Neither need to be in the room where you print and it’s probably better if they are not. Anyway, good luck. P.S. is it a roller transport machine or some other style?

What are the dimensions of your room, which RA-4 processor did you score, and will you have any sink/water source in the room at all?

I'm in the very late stages of building my new semi-dry darkroom (13x14 feet) along with a CP-32 processor for RA-4 and a SK-8 for film - both for dry-to-dry processing but allowing for occasional 30" tray processing. The new dedicated room is now constructed as part of the new house (just moved in recently so finishing the darkroom had been a little delayed), but I'm now just waiting for 16 feet of cabinets to arrive in less than 2-weeks and then a custom 30" deep L-shaped countertop. I'll be forgoing a traditional long sink and instead plumbed it for an oversize standard stainless sink and a digital Intellifaucet as well, but I'm making the countertop extra deep to accommodate the processors and large trays.

@Michael Firstlight its a colex 2001 year model I believe. My studio mate has been doing all the Ordering of that. But it’s a dry to dry processor. Something you would see in a professional lab.
we do have a sink that we’ll run water to the machine. Its a laundry room that we’re converting.

@Michael Firstlight we also won’t be doing any wet processing as were only using the colex to do ra4 and no film processing or black and white. We are going to have 2 enlargers side by side and the colex in the middle of the room with a wall to divide the Dark feed area and the rest of the machine for viewing in light.
