so i have always wanted to get a pentax 6x7II i have just been waiting for the price to go down.guess what?no go on that.just on keh and the ln- price is 1300 smackers.i saw that mamiya rz67II are around 500 now.i guess i may have to wait til film is gone to get a pentax.(i know the older ones are good and much cheaper but i want what i want)also i keep going back to the mamiya 7 II.for some reason it seems ok to spend 1300 on that body but 1300 for the pentax without a finder, well simply put holy cow.if only my parents were wrong and money did grow on trees.

A really odd thing that I found is that with Pentax MF gear, most stuff sells on ebay for substantially less than it's priced on KEH, but with Mamiya gear, most stuff sells on KEH for substantially less than people are paying on ebay (I saw a 127mm C lens sell on ebay for over $100, and it can be had on KEH in bargain condition for $60).

The average selling price on ebay for a 67II body with AE finder ranges from a bit under $1000 to over $1100. I've seen 67II body only sell for a little over $700. I watched and/or bid on several 67II's with AE finders, until I finally got one (in virtually new condition) about 2 months ago for $880 (including an AE finder). I started regretting spending that much on a camera body though (with MF gear being so cheap now a days), so I changed my mind and I currently have it for sale on ebay. I'll probably get around $1000 for it (since there are other 67II's listed at the same time, I doubt if it'll get to the $1100+ range).

The main reason I bought the 67II was so I could do multiple exposures. I decided to get an RB67 for doing multiple exposures, and also for when I sometimes want negs and transparencies from the same images, I can just change backs while I'm shooting instead of going back and re-shooting with transparency film after I already shot with negative film.
