Has anyone had any experience replacing the knob on the film advance winder?
A friend found a Holga cheap, still had film in it, but was missing the knob that wound the film stem. He managed to shoot the rest of the roll using a screwdriver blade to forward the film, but now the plastic is a bit worn......needs something glued or attached to be able to wind future films on...
Any help or suggestions is welcome. Thanks.

They are cheap, just buy another one.

Some sort of epoxy? Sugru comes to mind as the ideal material to make a replacement knob.

Thanks markberendt....yes, I know they are cheap, but so is my friend, and part of the thrill for him is getting this camera (which he got for a pittance) to work.

Thanks heelguru, I've never heard of Sugru but will look into it.
