I recently tried using a Holga 120S that I found in a thrift store. When I tried to load a roll of film, I found a film already in the camera. I gave it a try and enjoyed the experience.

Here are my favorites of that first attempt (hopefully scanned negatives with slight photoshop cropping/adjustments are allowed). I look forward to doing more of this.

If I remember correctly, the film was Tri-X, not sure of the ISO, and it was a cloudy day.

I really appreciate the encouraging comments. I have now tried a second film--this time at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, U.S. after Christmas. To me, the Holga images seem appropriate for that landscape. Here are examples--again, some Photoshop adjustment to scanned negatives.

I agree with you that the format fits the subject matter. I love the one with the cannon and the tree.
