I've shot a lot of Rollei IR and found the 680nm filter to be a better fit - it's just not as IR sensitive as the classic IR films.

That's the lens version or the pinhole, I've been thinking about the lens version, would you recommend?

I've been shooting this stuff for about a decade now, and after testing with several filters, including a 680, the 720 had the edge.

It's the lens version. Yes, I would recommend it. I have the pinhole version and have shot Rollei with IR filter. The exposure was about 30 minutes!

Very nice video once again Andrew. I especially like the third composition. The more I see about this particular holga the more I want to get one! Especially because I could still print from it on my 4x5 enlarger!

I got one and it's actually too good for a Holga- you really only get the funky squishy swirly stuff at the extreme ends of the frame, and then not much. I'm actually thinking of converting it to use a good glass lens with a full-range shutter.

With Rollei IR 400 I shoot at ISO 400 with the R23, R25, R29 and 720. R23 gives, as expected weak results. R25 provides the typical IR results we expect. R29 gives a welcome boost over R25, but I agree overall the 720 does provide the best results.
