I won these on eBay for $27! The seller said they were "new" but I didn't really think they were actually new. They arrived today in their original box, with the paper still between them! Not a single rub mark or scratch!!

I know! When people say "like new" I always expect SOME wear, but these have absolutely none! Its like they were bought and then stored in a closet forever!

Wow those look nice, and for less than 10 buck each I would say you did very well. If they were 5x7 Then I would be very envious.

Yeah...mine are nowhere near this cosmetic condition. Heh.

I saw some more that were basically new in box on Ebay and was tempted, but I don't really need them to be NEW new...and I need 5x7 holders more than 4x5, but I don't really need any. 6 5x7 shots and 22 4x5 is...enough.

Was just at Seawood Photography in San Anselmo, and they have to boxes of NOS 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 holders, box looks just like the OP's. Didn't ask the price. Did pick up 4 nice 5x7 holders though.

Nothing like virgin film holders, especially ones older than your mother.

I bought a couple boxes of 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 a couple years ago off EBay and was pleasantly surprised that they were indeed... unused.

Just as happy with a set of 5x7s that had writing on the film memo area but looked brand new... used once I guess. Those were around 10 bucks a piece and absolutely clean.

Take good care of them, they will last forever.

The 5x7 holders I picked up at Seawood's are very clean. Paid 15 dollar each, which I thought was fair for wood holders.

That is a great deal. Just one thing which I always find funny when people buy on Ebay, they always say they "Won". We seem to forget we paid.
I say this as well of course.

It use to be an auction site and "won" was pretty accurate.

That was a great deal, Chris!

What I meant was that you sure don't see as many deals as you used to see.

Always nice to get a good deal on holders. I scored on three boxes of 5x7 Fidelity holders which were supposed to be NIB for $30 on ebay last year. Believe it or not, the were new, untouched holders. I don't think these boxes had ever been opened. I only wish I could find more like this.
