hello all,
i mostly shoot 4x5 and 8x10 pinhole images. i have been using foma 100 in hc110 (119:1) for 18 min agitating every 3rd min at 20c.
i have aquired some hp5 and some tmax 100(i gotthe t max for the great reciprocity characteristics). i processed some tmax100 and FP4 in my normal hc110 dilutions and times. the fp4 looked great, and the tmax sucked. it was too thin.(maybe i need more time?)
anyway i am planning to test these two films in hc110 at high dilutions and also d76 at 1:3 and maybe 1:1. (i also have some tmax developer not RS that i may try....i do not want to confuse myself too much early on) can you please tell me what is working good for you at these dilutions? i would appreciate info on hpr at EI200, 400, and 800.) the same for tmax. EI 50 and 100. witha pinhole i always error with more exposure, but the other info would be greatly appreciated as i also shoot with a lens at times. i had taken some great notesthe other night, lost them and can not seem to surf up the info again. DIH!
i ma most interested in the high dilutions to help increase the speed. i am fairly new to all the developing. i have read the published info on these two films. ther is not much info on the high dil. especially for hc110 (119:1). most people use dil(b or h) which sounds okay too. i will process some tonight and info would be great. thanks in advance.
