Hi all,

After several years as an amateur photographer I decided to joint this great virtual community. This is not an insolated invent since I will start a beginners darkroom workshop over the weekend. I’ve developed my film several times over the years but never in a consistent way so every time was kind of my first time. But I’ve never had the joy of creating a print so I’m looking forward to that. I have a small amount of rolls (244 color plus 90 b&w according to my wife’s accounting  that I hope I’ll be sharing with you guys soon ( well this won’t take long if I show you only the good ones)

I started out with a Konica TC and after several years moved up to a Canon Elan II. Now I shoot with an eos-3 and eos-630 and I just bought an used maxxum 7 with 50mm lens just for the heck of it. I have no favorite subject, but I find myself shooting mostly street scenes. I have to say that the last 10 month I’ve being shooting my 10 months daughter A LOT.

See you guys later

Rafael

BTW I’m from venezuela living in washington DC.

Welcome in, Rafael! This is a great place to be. Keep shooting your child. You may get great pictures -and your wife will think you're doing something useful.

Hey, Rafael
Great to have you join us. This is a good place to learn more about photography (and a 1000 other things!). I feel the best place to invest your photographic time is in pictures of that 10 month old daughter. none of your pictures will be less than.... Priceless!

Bienvenido, Rafael. Join the fray and don't hesitate to post photos or ask questions. Luke

Welcome Rafael. I did the same thing with the brith of my first daughter and recently added a 35mm to my collection again as I found I had very few photos of my second daughter. They're priceless memories that you'll never capture again.
