...Photograher.
I came upon this site thinking it was one of those 10 step programs (to help with my addiction). I don't believe this place is going to be any help at all!
25 years after ago I was involved was photography at my High School. About 4 years ago got involved agian by way of digital. Last year found several old film cameras at our local thrift store, I couldn't resist. Started developing my b/w film at home and I'm really enjoying film again. Looking forward to continuing the journey.

Welcome back, to reality, Brad! :D
You'll find lots of useful stuff here!

APUG can only make your affliction worse...far worse... pretty soon you will be lugging a 300lb camera and doing perfectionistic printing using precious metals and expensive papers and sweating over subleties that most human eyes cannot detect.
Run fast now while you can.

Leave now before its too late. Really, take a step back, look at your checking account, smile and that's it. Before you know you it, you'll have an 8x10 camera and a tripod that costs more than your last digital.

So far it is time, not money that is the issue. Beside film and chemicals, I have gotten everything second hand and spent very little. My favorite camera so far is a VOIGTLANDER BESSA II -a very nice 6x9 folder. I got it for less than $20

I was there myself. But we make it through. Welcome to the group there, champ!

Welcome, it's the 11th step, after all else fails you get enlightenment and and develop a need to have your hands in fixer in a dark room.

How in the world did you get a Bessa II for less than $20? I have been wanting one for a long time (preferably with Heliar).

Of course we have a 10-step program!

It's the 10 steps to ULF and Pt/Pd printing.

If you wanna quit, we'll be no help at all!

Welcome from Rochester, NY home of Kodak! :D

And now I know how Joan of Arc felt

The only difference between an APUGGER and a madman is that the madman isn't mad:tongue:

Oh boy, Brad did you ever screw up. Too late now but whatever you do, don't ask Ole for help picking out a lens.
