Hi all, not to good at writing essays so will keep this short and sweet.
I am new into the world of film and medium format. I've been shooting with DSLRs for about five years but have cleared it all out and replaced it with a Bronica sqa. For now I'll just be developing but hopfully when I figure out where I hope to be able to print too.
Living in North Devon I feel quite fortunate being surrounded by a vast variety of land/seascapes and have exmoor and dartmoor on the doorstep.
Using the Bronnie has shown me how little I actually know about photography and because of that I feel excited everytime I pull it out of the bag.
Well there seems to be heaps of information here and some very insperational photographers so I look forwards to learning and maybe some day contributing to the site.
Hi Stephen, welcome to APUG. It is good to hear you are getting excited about your photography again.
Even if you do not have room for a darkroom at the moment, with a changing tent, contact frame, and a daylight print processing drum you would be able to contact print your negatives. And beleive me, small is beautiful. Those little 2¼ square prints can blow you away!
welcome from West Cornwall. We are lucky to live in this part of the UK. I have a Bronica SQai which I'm getting aquainted with also. All the best for the future.
