I know what you mean to be the last film holdout in a camera club. Hang in there. I have a few younger members at least a bit interested in souping, even though the club of which I speak actually has no facilities of its own.
Thanks for the encouragement Mike. I forgot that there are a handful of our club members still using slide film. We had a small 'B&W darkroom' group which was discontinued at the beginning of the year due to lack of interest.
I've been called 'retro' for my interest in the older film cameras, but was fascinated to find 40 or 50-year-old cameras still around & in working condition. The images aren't perfect but that adds to the attraction for me.
Thanks again to everyone for the friendly welcome.
Hello from Sydney Janice,
where in NZ are you from? We're heading over on Thursday for two weeks, we're doing a loop from Christchurch through Haast and the Arthur's passes.Matt.
Another welcome from the wet and windy west coast of Canada. (We Canadians have little to talk about except the weather).
