Hello APUGer’s…My name is Mike and after joining a number of years ago I became distraught when digital was taking over and was afraid for the future of film. I have since then realized that film is strong and subscribed to APUG and began my quest.

When I was about 12, I remember going with my older brother to the Cincinnati Camera Club where he was a member. We went into the darkroom and that is where I first saw a print appear in the developer.
After college my school district offered classes for teachers, and I took a course on working in the darkroom. I worked at it for while but was not happy with my results.

Now as I am getting closer to retirement, I would like to pick up where I left off. I have my darkroom and equipment but need some guidance. I have posted a question with help needed to determine grade 2 paper. It is here:

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Thanks for any help. Any 4X5 shooters from Cincinnati here?

Mike... hello and welcome to APUG!

I'm a 4" x 5" shooter and my Dad is from Cincinnati, does that count? Anyway, I would like to walk around Spring Grove in the spring (with some Velvia) when the trees and a flowers are blooming. I believe that they allow photography there.
