I am always on the lookout for interesting new film, and I think I found some film that might be interesting to a few of you!
At the moment I’m still catching up on other film orders, so please expect a 2-3 week lead time if you order within the next 2 weeks. I wanted to put this out here to gauge interest for this film, as the amount of interest might determine whether or not I attempt a big project involving this film during the summer.
This film is NOT ordinary camera film! It is meant for laser imagesetting machines with IR lasers, and is usually used to make plates for printing presses, PCB lithography, and other graphics art applications. As such, it has a unique sensitivity spectrum, and produces very sharp negatives with very high contrast and limited latitude on an ultra-clear, 0.1mm PET base that dries flat.
Although I can get this type of film new, this should still be considered limited in supply. The film I have seems to be from a different manufacturer than Agfa (the only remaining manufacturer), and I can’t guarantee new film will look the same.
When shooting in visible light, I have found it should be exposed at EI 3 to get the best results. Some examples shot without a filter (HC-110 F):
When shooting with a 720nm filter, EI 0.8 produces good results in my testing. Some examples shot with a 720nm filter (HC-110 F):
A red 25 filter may allow for Wood effect at a higher speed, but as of now my red filter has not arrived.
As of now, these are the development times that I have found work best with this film:

- D-76 (stock): 6 minutes
- HC-110 F: 9 minutes
- Rodinol 1+50: 10 minutes
