Hey!
Well, you probably figured that out already, but my name is Alexandra, I'm from Montreal.
I've been into photography for a couple years now. I couldn't resist to the temptation of digital and I've done a bit of it too, but I'm now totally into film and darkroom work.

I just discovered this site, and it looks full of ressources and talented people, and hopefully I'll be able to help others out too, be it with critique or advice

Hello Alexandra, any questions just ask. It's a lively discussion with lot of points of view but somewhere in there is usually a consensus of opinion and I have never disappointed by the advice. I have learned a lot and no matter what your level of experience is you never stop learning. I too, as a lot of us, have done some digital and it has a place. We prefer to do the traditional "Analog" photography here. That's film, paper and darkroom work with all kinds of cameras, subject matter and endless approaches.
