Hi everyone, I've been shooting for a couple of years now, I'm saving up for a camera, probably a m4/3 body with no lens. Along the way the only DSLR I had, Oly E-410 broke and I haven't been able to buy a new camera yet. I have a Zenit 12xp and I need to buy a couple of batteries for it. I have a couple other Zenits but they aren't in working condition, and I also have a Revue 400L but I hate the unprecise focusing and auto settings. I haven't been shooting film much mainly because I haven't had the money. I'm 17, a student, you know... I'm trying to gather some money for a new digital camera first because I wanted to start filming, and I'm not that rich to shoot on film that much.
When I will be able to afford it, I'll buy the equipment to develop B&W negatives because that's the easiest and the cheapest. I would love to try out C41 as well some day.
I wouldn't really afford printing out of those negatives so I'm asking if It is ok to scan the negatives. I probably won't afford a scanner so could I scan it with a digital camera?
And I just can't get really used to a gallery alongside a forum. I'm too accustomed to just posting the photos off Flickr or something.
Oh, and I really love music, I'm practicing DJing and I'm learning about music theory and playing around with FL Studio and such.
I hope to learn alot here about photography and the analog process, I just love to look at film and prints. A general problem with digital is that no one prints photos that much!
And it would be great If I could have the money for photography but in the meantime I'll just have to read the posts and talk a bit on here.
EDIT: Also, I would love to subscribe for a year but Paypal blocked my account until I'm 18 and that is in March. 24$ isn't that much I'd say.
