Hey guys, I joined this board after being frustrated with all the other photography forums I've been on that offer little to no constructive criticism.
I just turned 18 years old and am currently living in St. Louis, Missouri.
My weapon of choice is a Bronica SQ-A for the most part (though I do shoot digital sometimes with my d70s). I'm looking forward to learning tons here!

Here's a link to my flickr if anyone wants to check it out.

Welcome from an old fart:D:D

Enjoy it, there's lots to learn - and this is the place to do it!!

Welcome from western Massachusetts, and yes I am an old fart too!

Hi there from a middle aged (but still immature) 'old fart' in training on BC's north coast

Murray

Aw jeez, having had some Yankee Bean Soup with lunch today - I can definitely say that I'm NOT an old fart! I'm just an old farter making new gas! :D

Welcome to APUG - I think.

Hey, could someone please open the window - it's getting kind of "nasty" in here! :surprised:

Welcome from a fellow youngin'! Atleast I like to think I'm still young. 25 is not too bad is it? I used to use a Bronica SQ-A, love the square format. Now I'm armed with a Mamiya 6. Anyway, yes, this is a great site! Anything you want to know can be answered by all the kind and very knowledgable fellow photographers here. Looking forward to seeing your work!

Brian

Welcome from a photographer in your neck of the woods-or caves. Nice work on your Flickr account.
Few people realize that the best places in Missouri are underground.

Hey, Tomchy. Welcome to the group from Delaware. I shoot MF as well and you will get more constructive criticism here than you bargained for. Be ready to grow from it. Welcome aboard, matey.

Thanks for the warm (and rancid) welcome everyone!

Rusty, good to see some fellow St. Louians (?) on here. I'm thinking of doing a whole series on the caves that can be found all around Missouri. Just need to find them!

welcome

Welcome from England.

Hi Tomchy, another welcome from the UK.

Welcome from the U.K. Occasionally we can be a bit curmudgeonly but in an endearing and well meaning sort of way. Not me of course. I am always sweetness and light:D

Welcome to APUG Andrew. You have some very nice work on your Flickr, I especially like 'Discovery'.

Welcome to APUGland!

Welcome from Seattle and a SQb fan.

Best regards,

Bob

I shot lots of those "one finger" salutes in my younger days. Does that make me a "digital pioneer"?:D

Years later, I met a high school friend, of whom I had taken a close up shot of his extended middle finger. The lighting was dramatic, the neg came out perfect and I made a beautiful print. My friend said later that he thought that the print looked like it had been made by Ansel Adams.:surprised:
