Hi All

Long time digital user returning to film to try to re-learn the basics and enjoy some fine old equipment. It started with a Yashica Electro 35 about two years ago and now I'm also using a Canon P with either a Jupiter 8 or a Canon 50mm f1.4. Looks like a lively forum so I hope to learn a lot from you guys and girls. I'm based in Yorkshire, UK but I've lived in China for a few years....no particular favourite form of photography so willing to have a to at most things. Cheers, Alan

Hello. I'm similar to you. Film is a lot of fun for sure. If not, you're doing it wrong!

Hi Alan, welcome from the West Midlands (and less frequently at the moment the Aegean). I have relatives in Yorkshire which I flew over on Saturday :D

When you're fed up with the Canon P and lens I'll happily lake it off your hands - a nice set up, reminds me it's time I shoot 35mm again.

Ian forgot to mention the forum has a buy and sell mechanism.

I use the 35mm f/2 LTM Canon lens for the majority of my photography, on a P.

And welcome.

GAS is Gadget Acquisition Syndrome. There is not cure for it.
