Hi Everyone,

I didn't notice this topic of introduction, sorry about that.

I come from south-east Italian but do live close to London, Essex, UK.
Use to shot by my Leica M6 named "Lucy" , 50mm Summicron f/2 and TMax 400. My interests regard reportage and street photography; but recently with friends, acting as model, we try to experiment different framing/atmosphere.

I bought a Durst M605 Color and try to do my best with Bergger paper or Ilford Art 300. The curiosity to try different papers is strong: this stimulate my creativity.

Thanks,
Simone

Sorry for my bad English I hope that my thought is clear

Welcome Simone!
M6 + Summicron 50 is such an awesome combo. Small size, high quality, and very versatile. Have fun with it!

Welcome to Photrio. Have fun taking photos with your Leica.

Thank you mates for your warm welcome.

I was thinking for the future to buy a used Summicron 35mm but for now my priority is to specialise on printing.
I have my method taught by my Master, but the problem is more information I got, reading books or by this formidable site, and many doubts arose of my procedure.

Welcome to Photrio from Western Canada

Hello and welcome to the Photiro site, Simone.........

Good Morning and Thank you

Welcome, enjoy your stay, lots of good information in this forum. Just remember, its the final print that matters!! Consistency is key.

Thank you.

I had my method taught by my Master using Kodak project print scale for test printing. After read Way Beyond Monochrome and watching Calabresi's tutorial

I started to think about it.

By Lambrecht the contrast it's something that you need to stipulate initially but for Calabresi is a consequence of the strip test; this put on me a bit of confusion to choose the method to adopt.
