Hello. I am trying to find a value/price range of my Kershaw Peregrine II folding camera and have found very little info searching online. I have tried ebay, KEH, other used camera sores, both online and local, and even tried contacting a number of people who have some limited info on their websites.

The camera is in decent condition, and I have put film through it, but not recently. The covering is coming off on the bottom of the camera and it would need to be cleaned!

Look for completed listings on ebay.co.uk. It is a rare camera, there may be none.

hi there

I just did the google thing and found "collectable blend" knows your camera and has some sort of recent prices ( a couple of years old )
https://collectiblend.com/Cameras/Kershaw/Peregrine-II.html
prices go up and down it seems to be a buyers market these days and the market is glutted with lots of cameras of people
thinning the heard to pay for life and film so it might not be an accurate listing...
as they sometimes say
YMMV

Is the bellows light tight? Shutter speeds ok? Lens clear? Does the back leak light? Is it easy to use? What kind of film does it take? These things would determine the value if you don't recall how much you paid for it.

Thanks for all your replies.

I've decided to do a CLA on it, and to see if there are any issues. After that I will most likely hang onto it and pass it down to my kids. You could say that we are the original owners, as my grandfather purchased the camera new back in 1948/49. I'll also be putting film back through it if all is well.

I appreciate everyones help and advice.

Super cool! I look forward to seeing some photos from this bit of family history.

Wow. Interesting camera!

It looks very well made with heavy metalwork.

Even if you didn't have family history with it, not many people can claim they own a Kershaw Peregrine II camera!
