hello, I have a roll film back that has just arrived and after I worked out how to open it I tested out the advance mechanism, it worked, but then it stopped so I did what the instructions said and moved the little release switch to the left, however, I can now turn the advance lever all the way around and it doesn't move the film?
Thanks

Now I'm finding that the winding lever keeps winding and doesn't stop when it gets to the next frame, I am on the brink of packing up the graflex and selling it just to get it over with, it has given me nothing but trouble since the start, even today the winding lever somehow cut open my thumb. I have had enough of it.
I'm sorry

Please tell me which roll holder you have. From your post its a RH12, 12-6x6 frames; RH10/RH20, 10 or 20 6x7 frames; or a RH8, 8 frames per roll of 120 or 220 for the RH20. If its one of these I may be able to fix it or take it off your hands.
If its a RH50, 50 6x6 frames on a roll of 70mm film there is a slim chance I can fix it.

Failing to stop at the next frame is a broken index 18 or index 19 in the diagram post #11 of the post linked to post #2.
It is not an easy fix.
