I would like to see some of the other shots, but to judge from this one alone, I would say it's a light leak at the film plane. As said, if it was a leak at the connection between the body of the camera and the Tele/lens, you could probably see it in the view finder. I am assuming this to be 35mm. At the top of the white cone there is a hard cut off line, this would be there because something is putting that area in shadow from the light. Does this camera happen to have a removable prism? The block of light would suggest that the light is coming from inside the body, but not necessarily from the lens area. The light could be coming from bad foam around the prism? Just my thoughts but take a look.
Also take a look at the progress of the cone shape. Is it wider at one end and then gradually get narrower to the other end? that could be a leak as it was spooled on either reel or core. If it is here and there throughout the roll, it could be the amount of light getting to it is being restricted in some way via aperture stop down or fingers in front of hole.
