okay I can figure out all the normal things on the lens but, there is a ring on the forward most part of the barrel that has the seting infinity to 0.5m. can some one help me with this.
Thanks
Michael Andersen
You turn this ring to indicate the range in which you are focusing, before focusing, to improve the focusing accuracy of your shot. You can adjust it later also, but you may need to re-focus after setting the range.

Was it before...or after you focus? Oh darn, I need to find my Hasselblad Book. I think its packed up in the garage. I've always focused, and then moved the ring.
thanks guys,
I had read a little about the FLE lens having the ability to be sharper at mid ranges than the older lens. This must be the reason. Okay, FLE Floating Lens Element. Now I see how this works. You are probably right move the ring first and then focus.Or rough focus to get your distance then move the ring and finalize your focus. Got it.
Those hassey people. they just know how to make cameras. Just a little more complicated than my 8x20.
thanks again guys
