I’ve got an Ilex Universal from a Kodak No. 3A Folding Pocket on my bench today and having an issue getting it fully disassembled.

Specifically, the screw here is being weird.

It was a little stuck, but when I gave it a little muscle the entire post that’s it’s on is turning. However no amount of turning extracts it, it does not appear that the post is threaded on (or if it is it’s stripped).

Now i’m left wondering “what is supposed to happen here?!” Is there a small screw into the post that’s stuck tight? Or is the whole post supposed to unscrew but it’s stripped?

Hoping one of you has been here before.
