Hi all - so I have a trusty Hasselblad 500ELX which I purchased for a song with a 9v single adapter. The problem I'm having is that the rear lock on the battery compartment door works fine but the two little hooks that are supposed to slot in and hook into the front are popping out while the camera is in use. I've tried giving them a little bit of a bend but they are pretty solid and the battery doesn't seem to push too much on the cover when in place but I'm not sure how to keep it going - I was thinking or wrapping some electrical or gaffers tape around the motor drove base if I have too but that's a tough long term fix. I also considered drilling a hinge into the door or something similar. The door prongs look fairly good when compared with a replacement online - but not sure if I have to go his route.

Thanks for any ideas from the community and I love my ELX and 150mm portrait machine

What shape is the area in where the hooks engage?
