Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can help identify this film as you can see from the photo the box just marks ASA 125. no brand, no name on film when you open it up ether. It does say made in England. I appreciate the help!

Sure looks like Ilford FP-4. AFAIK, Ilford is the only film maker in England and the style of printing on the box looks like Ilford.

I agree. It looks like an Ilford box. Why don't you shoot a roll and have it processed and see if it says it on the edges of the film.

Sure looks like Ilford FP4+

Agree with the others, but would add that this appears to be pre-Harmon product. One of the assertions that the new owners of the Ilford brand have made is that they will no longer make 'private label' products. The absence of the Ilford label therefore places this prior to the insolvency of the original Ilford Corporation.

packaging looks like the "arista" stuff from just before Ilford re-orged, the 2004 expiry date is consistant with that as Ilford has a long date. Any of Arista I got at that time had frame numbers identical to Ilford, but either NO name on the edge print, or just the speed.
Use the times for FP4 as a start point, and I suspect you will be VERY close.
