I brain faded and put a roll of tri-X 120 and a roll of Plus X 120 in my developing tank. Yep, pretty dumb.

I could process for the Plus X or the Tri-X or split the difference. I'll be using D-76. I don't recall where the more important images are so that doesn't help.

Any thoughts.

Give it your Tri-X dev time should be fine. Ilford's time for Plux-X is 7mins and Tri-X 7:30 in ID-11 which is the same as D76.

Yup, what Ian said. You get a little extra density on the PlusX, and the higher zones will pull up a teeny bit. That won't hurt anything. You may even be very happy with the way a bit of N+ prints...

You could also pull one of the reels, put it in a light-tight container (a second developing tank, say), and develop the first roll with the compromise time. You'll then know which roll you haven't yet processed and be able to process it with the correct time.

I'd only do this if I were 100% sure that the temporary container is light-tight, though. Even a developing tank might not be light tight if it's not completely assembled (say, if you put a plastic reel in without using the central rod).

A developing tank (Paterson style) is NOT light tight without the central rod. I know this for a fact.
