Howdy, Rangefinder Forum!

I have a Mamiya 35-S2 Rangefinder from 1958-9 that I really like to use, however, the framelines within the viewfinder shift all the way to the right or turn up about 45 degrees right about when I lift to put the camera viewfinder to my eye. Shaking the camera or whatever doesn't work most of the time.

I'm curious, is this a problem other folks have had that is perhaps fixable, or must I live with this annoyance? If it is fixable, what would you consider is the best way to go about it?

Thanks a bunch!

-Paul

Frequently the piece that is loose is just on the other side of where you eye looks through the opening if the viewfinder is of reverse Galilean/Albada construction.
