Help or advice for repairing a Lomography Horizon Kompakt whose shutter won't fire after cocking

I cocked the shutter and the photo didn't take, I was pressing the trigger and nothing happened.
I opened it to see if I could make out something misplaced or broken, but what I see around the shutter area doesn't make sense.
There are repair instructions online for the Horizon s3 pro and the manual version, but not for the model I have (I have this model).

I really could use some help or pointers because Lomography most likely won't repair it because I've had it for many years, and I am not making sense of what the malfunction is
