I am developing a film as i write this, and i dont have any neg files.
what can i use for a temporary file\holder?
I was thinking of wrapping it up in a ilford antistatic cloth.
I will probably get some more tomorow.
Help!

See if your mom has some waxed paper. do not put the waxy side next to the negs, but the paper side. just fold it in half for a nice half file folder for your negs temporaily

While I'm still reviewing negs before filing (yes, I really do toss negs that I don't like, so I don't file and keep them all--too many negs, too little time), I usually put them in a sheet of paper folded in half. You could also use an envelope.

Marko,

as long as you take a bit of care in putting them in an envelope, they would be fine until such time as you can get a few file pages, Heck I sill have negs in envelopes for 10 years ago, that are just fine..

I believe in using resources and my time wisely. I take my negatives directly from the wash water, I am very careful that my negatives have an extended LE, and put them directly into the trash.

This is a good foundation for an easy filing system.

Marko,

If the negs are in a dust free area ,just leave them hanging until you get the new files, if possible. It won't hurt to leave them hanging up on the drying line for a day.
