Help me find a book, please

Hi,

My google skills are apparently weak. I'm looking for a photography book about a group of young teen drug addicts, I think it's in New York but could be any of the other big American cities. It's from the photographers perspective as somebody who occasionally helps them out and interacts with them over a number of years. It's very stylised with notes and writing scrawled everywhere.

Only problem finding it is all the key points are so broad that it returns a lot of guff.

Somebody else suggested that to me earlier too but I don't think it's what I'm after. I think what I'm thinking of is a little more recent too, possibly the 90's.

Blimey, found it! Raised by Wolves, Jim Goldberg. Probably not exactly how I remember it...
