Dood, you coulda had a V6, I mean LiteTouch for $80 less.
Definitely went to a good cause - their CEO's 7 figure salary.

Yes, let's make sure everyone knows that Goodwill raises money for a very needy cause. Goodwill.

Good luck with your new acquisitions. I know I recommended the Sureshot supreme and I'm sure it wont disappoint. I also have an XA3, which is an improved XA2. Be prepared to replace foam seals on the back door. They are most certainly bad by now. No such problem with the Canon as it doesn't use foam.

Ive had a xa2 and xa3 but much prefer the xa2. Dx coding on the 3 seems to stop you using the manual asa settings on the camera as exposure compensation like you can with non dx coded 2 so all you are left with is the +1.5 lever.

At least thats i how i understand how the 3 works. Ive only had it a few weeks whereas 2 was my regular bag camera for years.

I don't know about that. Goodwill Industries of San Francisco San Mateo & Marin County has a 100% score on Charity Navigator: https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/941156540

Thanks, John!

CEO pulls in 7 figures. Think about that for a company whose 'mission' is to help others, based purely on getting people to give them stuff for free.

Anyway, back to the cameras! Let us know how they work out. I had an XA2 years ago, and have no idea what happened to it...

Is the Pentax UC-1 under the radar still? This is by far my favorite compact AF P&S of all time. The lens is hardly any worse than a T4, which I also own, and I find I get more consistently accurate exposure with the UC-1.

Not sure how under the radar it is, seeing it is going for $200+

Yeah, I guess that's pricey. I just never see it mentioned by any of the "film resurgence" youtubers that get foamy over this sort of camera. It all mju's and T4s basically.
