Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and in desperate need of identifying my 3D Photo.
I have had this photo in my Family for over 70 years. 11x14 photo in a very decorative light box.
the closeup attached below shows the barrier strip under the glass front, in front of the photo,and in front of the translucent
glass behind. An LED bulb (replaced an old hot bulb) lights up inside the box. There is no Identifying label of markings regarding
who the photographer. I can't tell if the image was retouched. I have been hesitant to take it apart because of the advanced age of this image.
Frederic Ives, Gabriel Lippmann, Clarence W. Kanolt, Harvey Preve all seem possible.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Welcome to Photrio.
I tweaked your thread title to increase visibility of the nature of your question.
You may wish to share more photos of the box it is in because people who are into historical 3D photography may recognize that.

@Modeler007 ,
A friend of mine who knows a lot about 3D photography - and has some really neat examples and related equipment as well - sent the following to me when I drew his attention to this thread:

"Hi Matt

I'm pretty sure that's Harvey Prever's work. I had one of his pieces (John Wayne with a Stereo Realist) at one time. He worked out of LA. Some stereo collecting friends there put this site together in his honour a few years ago.

I hope this helps.

If the image is hand colored it is either from the Perser corporation or Vitavision.
