Help Id a Lens Mount on a 135/2.8 Bittco Super Vemar (not Exacta)

Hello, I bought a Lens for .50 cents. It was Jacked, I went thru it and cleaned and re aligned everything. Now I need to ID the mount so I can usr it on my Camera (a 4/3 mount) I have seen this lens on ebay and it has an Exakta mount (supposedly). It looks different than my mount.

Also I have a Topcar Exakta lens mount with adapter, The Bitco Bittco Super Vemar mount is Huge, it has three lugs with a Little pin in the center of one of the lugs, ( a Locking Pin). I really want to play with this Preset Lens but I cant find the correct mount, so I can buy an adapter. Any Ideas will be very helpful.

I have a friend who had a Vemar lens for his Canon. He never said anything particularly bad about it. I believe he got an adapter to mount it on an Exakta. Or was it the other way around?

My GUESS on your lens mount is Petri, because of the pin in the bayonet lug.

I have a Petri in M42 but still no glory for an exact ID. I really want to use this lens. I think I am going to buy a Cheapo Macro Tube kit and use the last ring as a Mount for my Camera. Going to be a Cobbled mess, but I think it will work. If I set the lens to Infinity and slide the lens forward until everything is sharp and in focus. Next I will make a mark and make some sort of permanent mount out of the macro tube extension.

AnscoJohn, I see you are from Mount Vernon. Well I was born in DC and raised in Fort Hunt. I spent most of my time on GW parkway bike path finding little places to stop and go fishing. I really miss those days. Thanks for posting and reminding me of my childhood.
I am sure good ole MT Vernon hasn't changed much. George Washington's plantation is a wonderful place! I hope to revisit my childhood home with my children some day. Again Thank you. Oh BTW I have an Old Anso Waste level in need of restoration, do you shoot them exclusivity and is a rediflex wort the effort, or are they a dime a dozen (so to speak) Looks like it shoots 120 film

Across the street and through the woods and I am in Ft. Hunt. Any old camera is worth shooting and some of the old Anscos are great fun. I have a ca. 1935 Agfa-Ansco 5x7 Universal View Camera made in Binghamton. My bride is from Binghamton and her brother and several aunts worked for Ansco.
There is a Petri M42 to Petri bayonet/breechblock adapter, but I do not think there is one that goes the other way. Since your lens has a pre-set diaphragm, all manner of lash-ups are feasible.

I went to waynewood elementry and was going to go to fort hunt high school but they made it a middle school , I went to west patomac. I lived in wayane wood on crowley place 8420 three houses down from the guys who do the haloween display every year. What a wonderful place yo grow up

Nothing like the ol neighborhood. I still think that Vemar is a petri mount. The body had a breechblock which locked it in.

John, You were right it is a Petri mount. 100% thanks. I was so dumb, you said it before but I was looking at a petri lens in my hand and it is m-42. That seems logical as m-42 almost became a universal mount for Pentax. Almost every lens maker offered a lens in M-42 so it seems. Well I really appreciate it. Now I can try to adapt it to my 4/3 mount. I always wonder what kid of image I am going to get when I try a new (to me) lens. Thanks again, AKf
