So I got this camera and absolutely love it. I've used a mamiya c220 and a mamiya 1000s 645 and love them, but the kit gets a bit heavy sometimes. So I decided to try this old rangefinder (some think it's ugly but I don't think so). It's the lightest camera, so easy to carry around and use even with its bulk. I've run 1 roll through and immediately had the aluminum plate holding the taking spool in place come loose and literally scratch my film through the backing paper. Nevertheless, the ratchet pulled the film through and I got some pictures.

So I'm going to snip off that folded aluminum and hope the take-up spool stays in place (I think it will). But I have a more irritating issue, the horizontal seems good on rangefinder, but the vertical is off. Does anyone know how to adjust the rangefinder on this camera? This beautiful camera is so thoughtfully put together my bet is there's an exterior screw to do this, but before I start playing around I was hoping someone might know. Thanks!
