Hey everyone, after quickly searching through the internet trying to find a place where I could get some quick answers I stumbled upon this forum. And after reading a bunch of topics quickly I know this is the place to be, you guys are a GREAT group of folks.

My dilemna is that I have recently acquired everything I need to do my own B+W developing/printing but I don't have access to running water (or able to run it to the room I'm using). Do any of you have any advice, techniques or ways to help with my altered workflow?

Greatly appreciated guys!

Joe

P.S. the only thing I have come up with is filling a 5 gallon cooler (for camping with bottem spout) with water from a de-humidifier.

Thanks again for your help.

what I do is mix my chemicals in the ktichen, get them in the darkroom, then after each print, run them to the kitchen sink where i have running water.

I Print in my basemenst with no running water. I put each print in a large bucket with water. after the session the prints gets washed in the kitchen. A spare tray wil also do the job.

My darkroom, which I've been using for the last six years, also has no running water.

I make the exposure, process the paper until fixed and then place it in a holding tray. Once I have a couple of prints in the holding tray I take them through to the (non-dark) bathroom, hypo clear them and then place them in a second holding tray in which they stay until I'm ready to finish up. Then I complete their washing and put them to dry.

With frequent changes of water in the first holding tray, it's a system that works well for me.

All the best,

Frank

I use the holding tray method also.
