A couple years ago I came across a couple vids on the Yootoob . . . one was about a couple fellas that converted a Box Van into a camera and shot onto HUGE glass negs that they prepared inside the van then exposed inside the van with a huge lens mounted on the back door of the van . . the van WAS the camera . .

And then vid where they did the same thing with a HOUSE at the Salton Sea . . . the glass neg was like 9'x 12' . . . the house was the camera.

I lost the links to these vids. Does anyone have links to them? Thanks

I believe you've already found what you wanted, but yes - that would be Ian Ruhter. He's famous for making outrageously large tintypes and ambrotypes with his truck camera. Look for him by name - you will find plenty of documents and videos featuring Ian's work.
