Help Connecting a Tripod Head to Tripod

I have gifted a wonderful three way head and I have a classic Gitzo Gilux Reporter. The Gitzo has no column or screw what exactly would I need to connect the two pieces together.

For context, I got that tripod for .50 I think I got a good deal.

Absolutely a good deal.
There is some variation in the top plates and the threaded stud, depending on the size of the tripod, but those should be good for all but the smallest ones. If you can figure out a model number, gitzospares.com will show the part numbers of what was intended for yours.
It can be challenging though, as the older tripods don’t have model numbers (just names) printed on them.
