Hello,

I have a Graflex Graphic 4x5 back with the 6 septums. The dark slide handle has broken and I am looking for suggestions on how to repair it.

I was thinking of gluing it back together with super glue. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Miguel

If this is a Grafmatic holder I have one which was repaired with two-part epoxy many years ago.
Still works.

I'll second that. Super glue is great for some things, but for gluing metal parts and expecting long life, go with two-part epoxy, preferably not the 5-minute variety.

+1. slow 2-part epoxy glue is the best. just needs patience for a day and stays for years.
