I recently purchased a "used" CPE-2 Plus Jobo processor off eBay.
"Used" meaning it didn't come in the original boxes.

The previous owner said it had never been used and looking at it,
it is spotless!

It came with the Jobo Lift for it (4062).

My problem.......
how in the heck do you attach the lift to the processor?

Looking at the lift for the CPA unit, the lift for that processor
looks to have a clip on the back of it. There is not one on
this lift (4062).

Any help will be appreciated as I'm anxious to use this.
I cannot find specific instructions for this particular lift.

Thanks,
Steve

I'm gonna have to rely on my memory of doing this about 2-3 years ago (not generally a good idea...).

If you look under the lift's "tail" you should see a small knurled knob/screw-head (mine is grey). If you unscrew this, the base of the lift separates from the main lift mechanism.

On top of the Jobo, where the lift goes, are four "pimples" - these can be pulled out to leave four holes. There should be four self-tapping screws in the kit and these are used to screw the base of the lift unit on to the CPE-2 using those holes. You can then put the main lift unit back on it's base which is now securely fastened to the main CPE-2 unit.

I can't remember if you need to do anything else: I seem to recall having to adjust or change the cogs on the lift or base unit, but can't think exactly what it was now...

Good luck, Bob.

Ok....I'll look for that. Maybe I can figure it out from there.
Thanks.

As Bob said, you should have a plastic piece that fits between the lift and the processor, with holes that align with the holes in the processor. Screw the adaptor to the processor with small stainless screws. The lift sort of slides onto this "adaptor" piece and is secured with a plastic thumbscrew.
It occurred to me that a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some pictures of mine, I hope it helps.
Also, Jobo's web site in Germany has instructions for just about everything, but it does take some hunting.
Finally, so I understand, newer CPE's than mine don't have the little white lever behind the drive gear, if your's looks different.

What's the link to the German site?

I've seen the www.jobo-usa.com site.

I e-mailed both the USA site and the previous owner.
They both responded andI got it done.
Just need one additional screw.

Maybe I just missed something in the manual, but I
don't recall ANYTHING saying how to install it. Hmm.

I did a water test drive and NOW all I need is some
exposed BW film. Got my chemicals mixed and would
really like to see if there's an improvement over my
hand processing.

Thanks!
