My girlfriend just informed me that it's improper to post to a group without having introduced yourself first. I've posted a few questions at the alternative processes forum without having introduced myself. Assuming it's not too late: I'm in Calfornia. I make prints from in-camera negatives for my own pleasure. I was making silver enlargements for about 7 years, but have just been exposed - no pun intended - to carbon transfer. So now I have what seems like 100 failures for every success, but the good news is that I'm *loving* it. I hang out at the alternative processes forum, and ocassionally peek into the contact printing forum. I just read a post where someone thanked everyone who freely shares their knowledge. I want to echo that. It's what I love most about the internet. It's truly amazing, the number of people in the world who share what they know, yet ask for nothing in return.
