Hi,

After many months of reading and learning I thought it was about time to subscribe (just waiting for the funds to be transferred) and say hello.

I started off with film but then moved over to digital but over the last year or so I bought a Rolleiflex 3.5f and a Mamiya 7ii, both cameras I really enjoy using. My next plan is to start my own developing and try either large format or to get a Mamiya RB67.

I'm looking forward to learning loads and hopefully to contribute.

Many Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt & Matt from north coast BC,

Welcome to the APUG jungle Matt!:D

Welcome from northern Indiana! You have a couple of very nice cameras.

When you have rollei and zeiss lenses , dont trade them to mamiya. Its a mistake. If it is 70 years old , zeiss have some unique qualities. Try to understand them from high noise and low noise zones.
Welcome in to the brain storm.

Hi,

Thanks, funny you should mention that my mother is just about to buy a house so I was talking to her about having a darkroom there as my flat isn't big enough but she said no, can't think why!!

Thanks

Matt
