Hi,

I am fron Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I wanted to have a change from Digital. I am
a digital nikon person. The weight required to be carried to persue my hobby
led me to the M8. From there the next step was the MP. So here I am
a 50+ persob trying to learn analog, because somehow I find it more
to my liking ( or perhaps trying things i could not afford in my youth ).

I am interested in bw film, and maybe later shall delve into developing
it. right now capturing an image is my priority.

What better way then to start my journey, then a trip to England
with my wife next week!

I have everything to learn ( and fast ), so please bear with my for my
novice questions.

Best regards.

Another welcome from New England! Film is where its at.

umdah,

Welcome to APUG from NYC.

There is a wealth of information here to assist you on your journey of discovery to the pleasures of analog photography.

Feel free to ask questions, no matter how simple you may think they are. We're a friendly bunch and we have opinions galore!

Enjoy your stay in England (although it will be dark and dreary there this time of year) and perhaps you can meet up with some of our many UK members, at least on-line and maybe in person.

Welcome, from the west (some would say wet) coast of Canada.

Matt

Thank you. Thank you all for the warm and wonderful welcome accorded
me.

Take care and God bless you all.

Warm welcome from Derbyshire, if you are not developing film yourself using lford xp2 is a great place to start, it is processed in c41 chemicals so that it can be processed at any high steet lab. You can print your negs on B&W paper if you go on to set up a darkroom.

Hi Umdah, another welcome from England.

And yet another welcome from another part of England.

Steve.

Welcome to our humble e-bode, Umdah. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. Just remember, there are no stupid questions here. Just stupid people who laugh at them. And there are few of those here so you've got nothing to worry about. Again, welcome.
