Hello

Just introducing myself - I’m Mike from North Yorkshire in the UK and have finally got around to registering.

I’ve multiple interests but mostly shoot monochrome film in 35mm rangefinders, with a bit of medium format and digital on the side. I scan negs with my digital camera, but do have a couple of boxes of silver paper so, one day, I’ll get around to making some digital negs for contact printing.

Thanks everyone. I’ve been enjoying reading through and always happy to help where I can. There are loads of people here who know far far more than I do though!

I’m currently working through a backlog of film - developed now, still some to scan, but getting prints made from each roll as I go. A few new pictures too.

Here’s a picture from my allotment the other week - the rotavator and shed belonged to one of the ‘old guard’. In the end he fell under it and was trapped, fortunately avoiding the tines until he was rescued. However, he did then accept that he was no longer fit to work his plot. The rotavator and shed stand as some sort of memorial to a very different past.

Shot on Kentmere 400 with a Leica MA and 7Artisans 50/1.1 lens. Developed in PC-TEA.
